Just click/hold the button, but don't forget it won't save you from being finished off with a finisher move. And it doesn't last forever, so use the time wisely for your squad to come to the rescue!

Using a knockdown shield in Apex Legends is pretty straightforward but super crucial in those oh-no moments! When you're downed, you just need to right-click (for PC players) or press and hold the shield button (it's usually assigned to a bumper or trigger on consoles). This pops up a protective barrier around you that can absorb incoming damage. Remember, you actually have to aim the shield towards incoming fire to block it, and it only protects your front side, so watch your back!

lol, just use it to make funny emotes at the enemy while you wait for inevitable doom. But seriously, it can actually give your team a fighting chance to save you, so don't forget to deploy it!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
