To use level 2 Mystic Artes in Tales of Berseria, you need to have 5 BG (Blast Gauge) and be in a Break Soul state. Then, press L2 during a combo!
Just build up 5 BG, go into Break Soul mode, and trigger the Mystic Arte by pressing L2 mid-combo. It's that simple!
Pro tip: keep an eye on your BG and make sure you're in Break Soul! When you hit L2 during a combo, BAM, level 2 Mystic Arte!
