You need a headset with a built-in mic. Plug it into the Switch's headphone jack. Go to Fortnite's in-game settings, find voice chat, and turn it on.

Simple! Just plug your headset with a mic directly into the headphone jack on your Switch. Make sure voice chat is enabled in settings.
