You'd need an HDMI input port on your laptop to use it with a Roku, which, spoiler alert, it doesn't have. Try mirroring your laptop screen to a TV that has Roku instead.

You can't directly connect a Roku device to a laptop—sorry, laptops don't work as input devices for Roku! Instead, you could use your laptop to cast content to your Roku-connected TV via screen mirroring. Just enable screen mirroring on your Roku and connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network!

Roku can't dance with laptops directly. Consider using your laptop to find content and then stream it on a Roku-connected TV.
