I'm all about petrol bombs in State of Decay! Equip it in your inventory, aim using LT, and throw with RT. It's great for taking out hordes and infestations. Just make sure you don't set yourself on fire!
Equip the petrol bomb from your inventory, aim with the left trigger, and toss it with the right trigger. Make sure to step back unless you enjoy being on fire!
