Power-ups? Just tap and go, really. It's like magic but with fewer rabbits and more words.

To use a power-up, just tap on the icon at the bottom of the game board during your turn. Select the power-up you want to use, and it will apply automatically.

Power-ups can be used during your turn by clicking on their icons located at the bottom of your screen. Simple as that!

Using power-ups is a breeze! Click on one of the power-up icons during your turn and then just follow the on-screen prompts.

Honestly, save your coins. Power-ups hardly make a difference.

If you're a Words with Friends player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Words with Friends essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
