I’ve done this myself. Run the Reshade installer, point it at your State of Decay executable, and let it install. Then, just configure your shaders in-game using the Reshade overlay.

Super easy! Download the Reshade installer from their official site. Select State of Decay's executable file during setup, choose the DirectX version, and hit install.
