To use the chop saw in Lumber Tycoon 2, place wood on the conveyor belt and push it through the saw. Easy peasy!
Place the wood at the start, turn on the saw, then let it guide the wood through. Collect your lumber at the end!
From my experience, just make sure the wood is on the belt straight and then turn on the saw!
