In the Gnasty Gnorc level of Spyro Reignited, you use the key to open the locked chest at the end of the second gauntlet run. Just chase down the thief, get the key, and head to the chest—it'll have some extra goodies for ya!

Once you've nailed the thief and nabbed the key, head back to the beginning of the level. You'll find a locked treasure chest there that you can now open.
