To use the Pickup Trigger in Geometry Dash, first, drag and drop the Pickup Trigger from the editor's menu onto your level wherever you want it to activate. Next, choose the object you want the trigger to effect, and then select the ID of that object in the Pickup Trigger’s settings. This will link the trigger to the object. When your player's icon passes through the Pickup Trigger, the effect on the linked object will activate, like changing its color or starting an action.

Honestly, people overcomplicate it. Just drop the trigger where you want, match the IDs, and you're golden. Easy peasy.

It's all about the ID, mate. Set the same ID for the Pickup Trigger and the object you wanna control. When your cube rolls over that trigger, boom, magic happens!

If you're a Geometry Dash player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Geometry Dash essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
