Honestly, just throw the whole thing in the washer on cold. I've done it tons of times, and they come out fine!
If the fur isn’t removable, hand wash with mild soap and cold water. Use a soft brush to gently clean the fur and then let it air dry.
Dry cleaning places will sometimes do this for you if you don’t want to risk it yourself.
