First, head to the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One and download the Blu-ray Player app. After it's installed, insert your DVD, and it should play automatically. Enjoy the show!

I've done this a bunch of times. Just open the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One, search for 'Blu-ray Player' app, install it, and then put in your DVD. Watching movies has never been easier!
