Playing through Classic Mode is super efficient for unlocking characters. Each time you finish a run, you'll often face a new challenger. Win the fight, and they're yours!
You can unlock all characters by completing the World of Light adventure mode. It's a bit more time-consuming, but you'll get everyone eventually!
Speedrun tip: Exit and re-enter the game every ten minutes or after each battle to trigger character unlock challenges quicker! But remember, you gotta win those fights to actually unlock them.
Just play the game. Seriously, the more you play, the more characters you get. No shortcuts here!
