As a fan who read the manga first and then watched the anime, I can say the anime sticks to the manga storyline really well. Yes, there’re occasional fillers, but they don't massively disrupt the flow.
Honestly, the anime deviates enough to keep it fresh – not a carbon copy but still faithful to the source.
It sticks to the manga closely, but the pacing in the anime can sometimes feel a bit slower.
