Yeah, it's good. You get more health but you'll struggle a bit with healing items.
I tried Alien DNA on my first playthrough and loved it! It made my exploration a bit more strategic since I had to plan my healing better.
Alien DNA is definitely a perk to consider in Starfield! It gives you increased health and oxygen, which comes in handy when you're hopping between planets and space battles. But, you'll need to balance it out since healing items might be less effective.
