I watched DBZ like a million times, and trust me, Beerus isn't in it. He shows up in Dragon Ball Super and the Battle of Gods movie.
Nope, Beerus doesn't appear in Dragon Ball Z. He makes his first appearance in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and then in Dragon Ball Super!
