Yup, Fullmetal Alchemist from 2003 was the first. Brotherhood came later in 2009.

If you're asking which came first, Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) is the original series, while Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) is a reboot that follows the manga more closely. Both are awesome in their own right!
