Yep, GTA Online is considered canon! It's set before the events of GTA V, so it's like a prequel to the chaos you experience in the main game. Think of it as the backstory to all the mayhem you cause in Los Santos.

From what I've seen, GTA Online events do fit within the GTA universe's timeline, making it canon. Plus, some characters from the single-player mode show up in Online, further tying it to the main story. It's like getting a peek into their lives before the events of GTA V.

Hot take: does it really matter? GTA Online's got everything from flying bikes to alien invasions. Canon or not, it's all about having a blast in the wildest ways possible.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
