Nope, Hogwarts Legacy isn't directly based on the Harry Potter movies. It's set in the 1800s, way before Harry's time, and focuses on its own story within the Wizarding World. Though it shares the magical universe, its plot and characters are unique to the game.

Absolutely not. Hogwarts Legacy crafts its own unique tale that's not directly lifted from the films or books. It's like a fresh Hogwarts chapter, but with familiar magical vibes and settings.

Hogwarts Legacy ain't a movie copycat. It's got its own vibe, set in the 1800s with a new storyline. But yeah, you'll recognize the wizarding world's charm if you're a fan of the movies.
