Hunter x Hunter is like a never-ending story. The anime isn't finished, and the manga updates are slow, but it's ongoing!
Nope, it's not done. The anime has stopped, but the manga is still being written sporadically by Yoshihiro Togashi.
It's never really 'done' as long as Togashi keeps writing. For now, we wait (im)patiently!
Short version: Not done, just on hold. Patience is a virtue!
