You can tell if your Pokemon card is shadowless by looking to the right of the image. If there's no shadow around the border (where the picture box meets the rest of the card), congrats, it's a shadowless card! These are from the earliest print runs and are considered pretty rare and valuable among collectors.

Just check the bottom right corner of the image. No shadow? Then you've got yourself a shadowless card. But honestly, unless you've got one from the first edition, it might not be as rare as you think.

Shadowless Pokemon cards are basically the first edition prints, before they added the shadow effect to the card design. So if your card lacks that shadow, it's from the early days of Pokemon TCG and likely more valuable. Super cool find if it's legit!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
