If you have an older 'fat' PS3, then yep, it's likely backwards compatible! But if you’ve got a Slim or Super Slim, unfortunately, it's a no-go for PS2 games.

It depends on which PS3 model you have! The original 20GB, 60GB, and some of the 80GB models are backwards compatible with PS2 games, but the later Slim and Super Slim models are not.
