Nuh-uh, point intercept isn't even a thing. You've got point-slope form and slope-intercept form, and they're definitely different.

Nope, point intercept and slope intercept are not the same. Slope-intercept form is y=mx+b. Point-slope form is y-y1=m(x-x1). Totally different formats for different purposes!

No, they鈥檙e not the same. Slope-intercept form shows the slope and y-intercept, while point-slope form uses a point and the slope. I've used both in my math classes鈥攖rust me, they serve different needs!

Point intercept? Never heard of it. Slope-intercept is the real deal though.

Slope-intercept and point-slope are like cousins. They鈥檙e related but not the same. Use slope-intercept for graphing easily, point-slope for finding the equation from a specific point.
