Some early PS3 models are backwards compatible with PS2 games, but later models are not. Check the specific model to be sure.

Yep, but only the original 'fat' PS3s have full backwards compatibility. The slim and super slim ones? Not so much.

Only the initial PS3 models like the 20GB and 60GB versions support PS2 games. Later models ditched this feature to cut costs.

Nope, most PS3s can't play PS2 games. You're better off getting a PS2 or using PSN's digital versions.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
