As of now, State of Decay 2 does not support cross-platform multiplayer. You'll need to team up with friends on the same platform, whether that's Xbox or PC.

I've been playing State of Decay 2 for a while, and unfortunately, you can't play across different platforms. Let's hope they add it in the future!
