It's not overly demanding on modern systems, but if you're still rocking a dinosaur of a PC, you might need to lower some settings.
I play on a mid-tier rig, and Subnautica runs smoothly. You might experience some frame drops in densely populated areas, but it's totally playable!
Long story short: Yes, it's pretty intense, but there's breathing room for mid-range systems to still have a great time.
Real talk: If you can run recent games at medium settings, you should be good. Just don't expect miracles on a potato.
