The disc version offers more flexibility, especially if you have a collection of physical PS4 games. Plus, who doesn’t love a good ol’ game box on the shelf?

The disc version of the PS5 is better if you like having physical copies of your games or want to watch Blu-rays. It also gives you the opportunity to buy or trade used games, which can save you some cash.

I have the disc version and I love it. I can still play my old PS4 discs and I don’t rely solely on digital downloads which can sometimes be slow or unavailable.

Digital is better. No clutter, easy game switching, and often cheaper.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
