You might enjoy the Persona series - it's got deep characters and turn-based combat, plus a mix of daily life simulation.
If you love The Legend of Heroes, you srsly need to try the Trails series (Trails in the Sky, Trails of Cold Steel)! It's from the same devs and has epic world-building and storylines.
First-hand experience here: Tales of series is pretty cool too, especially Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Berseria. They're JRPG classics!
Ys series is another great pick! Nihon Falcom made it too, and it has cool action-RPG vibes.
