Technically, no. You usually need to buy V-Bucks. Be wary of any website or person promising 'free' V-Bucks—they're likely scams!

Nope, you have to pay up. Save your allowance!

Sure, you can earn V-Bucks through completing certain in-game challenges in Save the World mode. But, unfortunately, you need to buy that mode first. Kind of a catch-22, huh?

From my experience, the only free V-Bucks you get are from daily login rewards in Save the World, but it’s pretty slow. Be patient.

Once in a while Epic Games might give out some V-Bucks as part of an event or promotion, but don’t count on it as a regular source. Happy hunting though!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
