Nope, Wailord's pretty bulky but not really effective in battles. Stick to other water types like Swampert or Kyogre.

Wailord is good if you wanna flex with its massive size on your buddy screen. In actual battles though, it's more of a splash than a tsunami.

I've used Wailord in raids for its tankiness, and it’s quite useful for that. Just don’t expect it to dominate in PvP.
