Honestly, the Xbox Series S might not handle the most demanding games in a few years. It's a great entry point into next-gen gaming for now, but don't expect it to keep up forever.
I bought the Series S and it handles everything I throw at it. For the price, you can't beat it, but it might struggle down the line with super high-end games.
Just get the Series X if you want something more future-proof.
