Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. SFV has cooler characters, but Tekken 7 has better mechanics IMO.
Tekken 7 all the way, especially if you prefer 3D movement and a more combo-heavy fighting system.
Street Fighter 5, no contest. It's straightforward, refined, and has a nostalgic vibe. If you love traditional fighting games, go for it.
Honestly, get both if you can. Each offers something unique and you'll have twice the fun!
