Yup, Tetris did make a brief appearance on the Genesis. However, it became a rare gem due to the swift legal clampdown!

Technically yes, but good luck finding a copy. The Sega Genesis version was pulled from the market almost as soon as it was released.

Hot take: Who needs the Genesis version when you can play Tetris on practically every other platform out there?

Yes, Tetris was on the Genesis, but it was involved in some legal drama. Sega released a version in 1989, but it got pulled from shelves pretty quickly due to licensing issues.

If you're a Tetris player looking for extra power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Tetris essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
