In the early Mortal Kombat games, many of the characters were played by real martial artists! For example, Daniel Pesina portrayed Johnny Cage, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero. Later on, they switched to fully digital models and voice actors.

Just a heads-up: the original MK actors are now replaced with digital models. No more real faces since MK4!

In the original Mortal Kombat games, real actors like Carlos Pesina (Raiden) and Kerri Hoskins (Sonya Blade) were used for digitized character models. More recent games use motion capture and professional voice actors instead.

Yeah, they used real actors originally. No wonder the characters had such cool moves鈥攖hey were played by actual martial artists!

Daniel Pesina is probably the most well-known. He played Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and other ninjas in the first two games. Pretty cool, huh?

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
