Mitosis has four fantastic phases: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. Each stage plays its part to ensure the cell splits as it should. It's like a well-choreographed dance of cellular activity.

In my biology days, memorizing the phases of mitosis was killer, but worth it! Just remember: prophase is when things get started, metaphase is aligning the chromosomes, anaphase pulls them apart, and telophase wraps it all up.

Prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase. Easy peasy.
