Most of the elements in the Periodic Table are metals. They include alkali metals (like lithium and sodium), alkaline earth metals (like magnesium and calcium), transition metals (like iron and gold), and post-transition metals (like aluminum and tin).

Metals are all over the Periodic Table! You'll find 'em in groups 1-12, plus some are lurking in groups 13-16. Think elements like sodium, iron, and gold.
