Original 151? Good luck, buddy. That's not just one set. You're looking at Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and parts of Team Rocket and others. It's a mix, not a single collection. Gotta catch 'em all? More like gotta search 'em all.

Just to clarify, when people talk about the 'original 151 Pokémon cards', they're usually referring to the Pokémon themselves from the first generation. But in the TCG, not all 151 made it into the very first set. The Base Set had less, and more Pokémon were introduced in later expansions like Jungle and Fossil.

Actually, I think the whole focus on the 'original 151' is overrated. The newer generations have some really cool designs and abilities that make for way more interesting gameplay. Don't get stuck in the past!

Ah, the original 151 Pokémon cards refer to the cards released as part of the Pokémon TCG's first set, commonly known as the Base Set. This set included classics like Charizard, Blastoise, and Pikachu. These cards represent the first generation of Pokémon from the Pokémon Red and Blue video games. Collecting all of them today is a mighty quest for nostalgia!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
