The rarest Topps Pokemon cards are usually the ones from the very first series they released. Examples include the holographic cards, the 'Tekno' and 'Chrome' series cards, and particularly the Charizard. The rarity and value of these cards often depend on their condition and how well they’ve been preserved over time. So if you got one in mint condition, consider yourself super lucky!

Honestly, all that glitters ain't gold. Sometimes the rarest ain't the most valuable. But yeah, Charizard's pretty much the king in any set.

I heard that the Topps Pokemon TV Animation Edition Chrome cards are super rare, especially if you find them in pristine condition. Charizard, as usual, tops the list but don't sleep on Pikachu or even the lesser hyped ones like Jigglypuff; they could be worth a lot to the right collector.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
