Photosynthesis has two main parts: the light-dependent reactions and the Calvin Cycle (also called light-independent reactions). The light-dependent reactions harness sunlight, and the Calvin Cycle uses that energy to make sugar. Easy peasy, photosynthesis breezy!

After years of making homemade chlorophyll smoothies (not really), I can confidently tell you that photosynthesis involves light-dependent reactions and the Calvin Cycle. Trust me, I've studied it while sipping green drinks!
