Basically, Xbox Live Rewards was Microsoft's way of saying, 'Thanks for your loyalty!' You'd rack up points and swap 'em for cool goodies. Simple as that!

Xbox Live Rewards was a loyalty program where you earned points for doing Xbox-related activities like purchasing games, renewing subscriptions, and completing surveys. You could then redeem these points for various rewards like Xbox Live Gold subscriptions, games, and other digital content.

I loved the Xbox Live Rewards program! I used to earn lots of points just by playing games and then redeem them for Xbox Live Gold. They鈥檝e now merged it with Microsoft Rewards, which is even better because you can earn points for a wider range of activities, including using Bing search.

It's dead now. Microsoft combined it with Microsoft Rewards. Same deal, but now you get points for more stuff, like using Bing.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
