In Pokémon GO, Ditto can disguise itself as certain Pokémon. As of my last catch, Ditto often pretends to be Pidgey, Rattata, Zubat, and several other common Pokémon. Just catch ‘em all and see if one transforms!
From my experience, I caught my Ditto when it was disguised as a Stunky! It's like Pokémon's version of a surprise party, so keep catching everything you see.
Quick take: Ditto ain't picky. It likes to transform into whatever common Pokémon is around at the time.
