Hot Wheels, like any big toy brand, periodically retires specific models to make room for new designs. Classics like the original Custom Camaro, the Beatnik Bandit, and the Purple Passion have seen their production runs end. Despite that, these models hold a special place in the hearts of collectors and can often be found on the secondary market, fetching pretty pennies!

I don't think Hot Wheels 'quit' making cars; they just cycle them out for new, fresher models. It's all about keeping things exciting and collectors on their toes!

Actually, Hot Wheels did stop making the Ferrari models back in 2014. It was a licensing issue. Big bummer since those were some of the coolest models. Collected them myself and now they're like gold dust.

They haven't really stopped making any cars, just evolved. The 'original' versions might be out of production, but many get re-released in new colors or editions. It's more of a transformation than an ending.
