Keep in mind that the 'One Piece' anime adapts the manga, not the other way around, so we talk about episodes rather than chapters when it comes to the anime. The latest episode adapts content from around chapters 1034-1035 of the manga. The anime does a pretty good job staying close to the manga source material, with some episodes dedicated to fleshing out the story even more.

It's episodes, not chapters for the anime! But if you're looking where the anime is in manga terms, it's about chapters 1034-1035. One Piece does a mix of sticking to the manga and adding its own touch.

lol, anime doesn't have chapters, it has episodes. But the anime's around the 1034-1035 chapter mark of the manga, give or take.
