Any controller labeled 'for Xbox 360' should work just fine. However, I’ve had issues with cheaper third-party ones, so stick to official ones if you can.

You can use wired Xbox 360 controllers, official wireless controllers with a USB receiver, and some third-party controllers. Just avoid ones that don't mention Xbox 360 compatibility on the box.
