The Code Geass movies, particularly Lelouch of the Resurrection, introduced a new storyline that diverges from the original series, effectively creating an alternate universe.
Eh, the movie sorta felt like a reboot with a twist. They kept some old stuff but tossed in new plot points. It's a mixed bag, tbh.
More fanservice and some epic Mecha battles! Plus, they included a few surprises that even die-hard fans didn't see coming.
