Japanese Pokémon cards have a distinct look with the text in Japanese, obviously! They tend to have a glossier finish compared to their English counterparts. The back of the card is also different, sporting a blue and white design with Pokémon Balls, unlike the English version’s silver and blue with Poké Balls.

They look cooler, IMO. Japanese cards often get awesome exclusive artwork that we don't get elsewhere. Plus, they feel a bit different in hand - more slick and shiny.

Basically the same but in Japanese. And shinier, maybe?

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
