In my experience, RadAways are essential. Had a Dweller come back from the wasteland glowing greener than a ghoul without them. Long story short, RadAways fixed them right up!

RadAways in Fallout Shelter are basically your best friend in the post-nuclear world. They magically clean all the radiation from your Dwellers, keeping them healthy and happy. Without RadAways, your Dwellers could get sick from radiation, and that's a one-way ticket to an unhappy vault.
