Gold tokens = emergency mana. Tap it, wave goodbye, cast bigger stuff.

Honestly, most times I forget I even have gold tokens until I'm desperately scanning my board for any speck of mana. Then, like a shiny beacon of hope, there it is鈥攐ne gold token ready to be sacrificed. It's saved my skin more times than I'd like to admit, letting me cast spells I otherwise couldn't afford. Don't sleep on these little guys; they can clutch victory from the jaws of defeat!

A gold token in Magic The Gathering is quite the versatile little treasure! When you've got one, you can tap and sacrifice it to add one mana of any color to your mana pool. This can be a real game changer since it gives you that extra bit of mana you might need to cast a spell or summon a creature at a crucial moment. Plus, gold tokens are not tied to any one phase or step in your turn, so you can use them whenever you need that burst of magical energy!

Not as useful as you'd think. Just a one-time mana boost that clutters the board.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
