In Fallout 76, bulking materials does two main things. First, it allows you to sell materials to vendor bots that you normally can't sell individually. Second, it sometimes reduces the weight of the materials when you bulk them together. However, not all materials weigh less when bulked, so it might be more about inventory management and making some caps rather than saving space.

Bulking in Fallout 76 is basically a way to declutter your inventory. It combines materials into a single item that's easier to sell or store. Don't expect it to magically make everything lighter, though. Only a few materials actually weigh less when bulked.

Bulk? More like a way to waste plastic wrapping up your junk. It barely saves any weight for most materials. Just sell it or use it as is.

As someone who's spent way too much time in Appalachia, bulking is my go-to for making extra caps. I bulk my excess materials and offload them to the vendor bots. It's also kinda satisfying seeing all my resources neatly organized into stacks.
