In Fallout Shelter, each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat governs different aspects of your vault's operation and dweller abilities. Strength increases production in power plants. Perception enhances water treatment efficiency. Endurance boosts dwellers' health and resistance. Charisma improves reproduction in the living quarters and attracts new dwellers. Intelligence governs the efficiency of medbays and science labs. Agility speeds up food production in the diner and garden. Luck increases the chances of successful rush attempts and the amount of caps found in the wasteland. Basically, each stat is key to a thriving Vault!

Honestly, just pump up Agility and Luck for everyone. Faster food production and extra caps mean you can pretty much breeze through most of the game's challenges. Plus, everyone loves a lucky dweller!
Gonna have to disagree with the 'Agility and Luck for all' approach. Don't underestimate the power of a well-placed Perception or Intelligence dweller. Without water and meds, your dwellers are just stylish corpses. Balance is key.
